How long have you been in business?
I have been in business as a consultant for over 25 years. I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of clients with all types of businesses in all sectors- service, finance, manufacturing, contracting, high tech, and retail to name a few. The reason I can work with so many types of businesses is that the same basic business principles apply to all businesses. Also, over the years I have learned the idiosyncrasies of a number of sectors.
What is your primary product or service?
I often tell people that I help business owners and managers to take more vacations and earn more money. I help them in a number of ways, depending on their particular circumstances. As a small business owner, you know that you have to be an expert in many different areas: marketing, finance, human resources, strategic planning, and so on. Most people are not expert in all areas, so they need some help and guidance with at least some areas. This is where it can be very cost effective to get some concentrated advice that zeroes in on exactly what they need.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In my early years I was the Chief Operations Officer of a corporate restaurant chain. Then, I co-founded and ran a manufacturing company in Petaluma. I held the positions of Director and Chief Financial Officer. I built the company into a multi-million dollar corporation over a period of 5 years and then sold. People who knew me, and knew I had been successful, began to ask me for advice. I naturally fell into the role of business consultant, and found that I loved helping people move their companies to success. I get a lot of enjoyment out of meeting so many wonderful people and helping make them more happy with their lives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have developed a business model that is extremely cost effective for the client. I do not require any signed contracts, and I work on an as-needed basis. I teach my clients how to make their improvements so that they can become independent of me. I teach them how to conceive and implement the changes they need to make themselves and their businesses successful. For over 25 years this business model has worked very well for me and my clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have an office in Santa Rosa and I serve clients mostly in Sonoma County. I have long distance phone clients and I have traveled to other states and regions occasionally.
Provide detailed directions to your location
I do most of my work in the field, at my clients' places of business. This allows me to get a better sense of what is needed, and it is generally more efficient. However, some clients prefer to meet at my office, at 1400 N. Dutton Ave. #21.

From highway 101 take the Guerneville Rd. exit and travel west to N. Dutton Ave. Turn Left onto N. Dutton, and then make a left turn into the second driveway marked #1400 N. Dutton. Proceed to #21.

I love referrals because they are a strong compliment, and because referrals have helped my business thrive over the years. I also have a large number of testimonials on my website, from very happy clients.
