How long have you been in business?
Since 1976. October will begin our 32nd year.
What is your primary product or service?
Professional staffing (contingent and direct hire) and consulting. For twenty years we were primarily Information Technology. Since then we have branched into Marketing, Finance and Engineering.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
W. A. ("Smokey") Hynes, who founded the company with his wife, Jane, was a senior systems analyst/architect/project manager. He worked for several years as the COO of one of the first consulting companies in the Bay Area, then decided to pursue the "American Dream" and start his own company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Smokey wanted to create "the kind of company that [he] would like to work for". He built a company where both clients and consultants are valued. We seek the best resource fit for every client need, so both the client and the consultant win. We communicate with our clients and closely manage our resources to assure both client and consultant satisfaction with every engagement. Because of this close relationships with our clients and consultants, we have formed many long-term relationships which enable us to better match the resources to the client needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are primarily California based (Northern and Southern), but go wherever our clients needs are. We are currently licensed in 14 states.

Our payment terms are generally net 30. We accept checks, EFT, and American Express.
