How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As indicated on EBMCs website, Shirley Burger (Eugene Burger's wife) was the first Burger to enter into property management before EBMC was founded in 1968. In 1968, Eugene Burger Management Corporation (EBMC) was founded by Eugene J. Burger. Eugene Burger, a former national president of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) orignially began a small property management company primarily focusing on multi-family residential. Today, EBMC provides third-party property managment and leasing services to an estimated 100 apartment owners and investors, 325 common interest developments, 250 single family owners and investtors, 2 million sq feet of commerical space as well as a sizable portfolio of owned and managed properties. EBMC has approximately 500 employees.

EBMC has serviced clients for over 40 years, it has been through many real estate cycles over the years and is familiar with the myraid of effects that these cycles have on real estate. EBMC employs over 500 employees and it has a knowledge base and a talent pool that is extraordinary to the industry. EBMC is locally known and nationally respected. With deep roots in many counties across two states, EBMC is able to provide exceptional resources to its clients. EBMC is a family owned business that sets itself apart from the "pac-man" operational mentality of many national competitors. EBMC beleives that while is all well and good to have all the high-tech capability nothing can replace one-on-one good old fashioned service.

10 locations presently. EBMC expands its operations from time to time where it makes sense finanically and when the expansion would better serve its clients.
